Dear Old Bridge Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

A list of all retiree pension wages for the years 2020, 2019 and 2018. Please make this a cumulative list of all living retirees for each year, include former departments worked at, and sort each list by department.

Yours faithfully,

John W. Milner

Can you please clarify this OPRA:

Are you asking what Pension is paying the people who retired in 2018, 2019
and 2020?

OR

Are you asking for people who retired in 2018, 2019 and 2020, what was
their annual pensionable earnings at the time of retirement?

OR

Something else.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Office of the Township Clerk

Dear Nicole Czerula,

My request for medical benefit payroll deductions from elected officials in 2019 & 2020 has been fulfilled. Thank you.

My request for pension benefit payments should be interpreted thusly:
I would like a list of total pension wages paid out to ALL municipal retirees in 2020. Please have this list sorted by department code (if possible), and within each department have all employees listed alphabetically. It is my understanding that all pension payments are paid out through the municipality the same way as employee wages. Therefore, if a code enforcement official retired in 1980 and is still alive, he would have received pension payments in 2020 and he would be included on the list. From what you have provided me so far, about 4 employees retire a year. This would make the total list about 3 pages long for the five departments in the township (8.5" x 11", portrait). Again, the column headings, if possible, should contain these fields: Employee Name, department (or department code), 2020 pension paid, and year of retirement (the last field was added only if the information is readily obtainable).

Yours sincerely,

John W. Milner
