Records related to 12/12/2019 lockdown
Dear Berkeley Heights Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. Digital recordings of the 911 call(s) received by the Berkeley Heights Police Department Communications Desk on December 12, 2019 between 2:15pm and 3:15pm leading to '[the order] that all Berkeley Heights Public Schools to be placed on lockdown'*.
- Records should include the 'call from a concerned citizen' leading to police dispatch, and any additional incoming calls which resulted in further escalation.
- Name and address information of caller(s) may be anonymized.
- Not requesting records from concerned residents asking for updates or information.
- Please provide records as MP3 or WAV files in a ZIP archive with link for download.
2. A count of the number of calls received by the BHPD Communications Desk on December 12, 2019 between 2:30pm and 4:30pm
Yours faithfully,
Concerned BH Parents
