The Borough of Allendale received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on June 15, 2020 for, “All violations of record, all building permits, property tax record card, and any zoning or planning board resolutions pertaining to the property located at 49 Dale Avenue, Allendale, NJ 07401 (Block 1701, Lot 23).” As such, the seventh (7th) business day deadline to respond to your request is June 24, 2020. This response to your request is being provided to you on the 1st business day as said request was received.

We request clarification of your OPRA as currently your request fails to identify a timeframe for the records being requested. Please respond in writing so that we may process your request. Failure to provide written clarification of your request will result in closure of this OPRA request.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Allendale to deny access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
