The footage requested is of public property within clear view of the public (not a secure area) AND of a public employee's interaction with a member of the public. None of the footage requested is of a secure nature or an issue of building security. Every aspect of the footage requested falls within the scope of "public record".
Ironbound Media has recieved numerous other pieces of footage of similar areas from other agencies as a matter of public record with NO "special service charges". Your false claim is invalid and is not acceptable.
Comply with the law and provide the records requested immediately. By law, you DO NOT have the right to deny this request.
I'm assuming this footage will be available as well through Captain Rizzo? Your previous response is incorrect, as this is footage of an unrestricted area open to the public, and of a public employee's interaction with a member of the public. Every aspect of this request qualifies as PUBLIC RECORD according to the law. You are REQUIRED BY LAW to provide this footage.
If necessary, ask someone with better knowledge of the law for assistance in performing your duties. As usual, you need to be instructed how to do your job properly. Sufficient time has passed for you to have used due diligence and researched this matter of your own initiative. Arrange to have the footage provided immediately. Someone from Ironbound Media will be in today to receive it.
