Dear Elizabeth City,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
On April 29th at 11:00pm a small black dog was brought to the EDP. The good Samaritan searched the pet websites and saw Bellah a female black toy poodle on lostmydoggie they contacted me. I went to the EPD HQ 5 times, called over 40 times getting switch from one department to another as well as sending 20 corresponding emails regarding.
The EPD refused to take my complaint and/or incident report. Even though the claimed to spend a lot of time investigating the matter. At this point, I have only received verbal confirmation that the dog the scanned was not my dog. I would like something writing from the EDP, such as phone records showing the date and time they contacted Homeagain.
Per Homeagain, the Elizabeth Police Dept. did call months later requesting the account shows it was documented on 4/30/2018. I was told to request a subpoena of HomeAgain phone records to confirm any information regarding this matter.
