Meaghan Lenahan,

April 23, 2019

Dear M. Roman:

Kean University originally received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on April 13, 2019.  As such, the initial seven (7) business day
deadline to respond to your request is Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  This
response is being provided on the sixth business day after receiving said
request.

Your request sought access to the following government records:
A copy of all Patrick Ippilito’s
1. All Resumes from start of employment to current employment status
2. All titles from start of employment to current employment status
3. All salary increments from start of employment to current employment
status
4. Any and all retirement monies and benefits from start to current
employment status

Records responsive to Item 1 of your above request were sought in an April
18, 2018 OPRA request that was the subject of recent litigation with you,
titled Roman v. Kean University, et al., docket no. UNN-L-122-19.  Please
be advised that the responsive resume was produced on February 13, 2019.
It should also be noted that the February 13 document production also
included Mr. Ippolito’s title and salary information at the time of the
aforementioned OPRA request, and is therefore also partially responsive to
Items 2 and 3 of your above request.

The remainder of your request will require an extension of time to be
appropriately processed.  Accordingly, your request will be extended until
Friday, May 24, 2019.  OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47: IA-Si. Specifically, OPRA states that "the
requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the record can be made
available. If the record is not made available by that time, access shall
be deemed denied."

In the interim, if you have any questions regarding this request, please
feel free to contact me or Custodian of Records, Laura Barkley-Haelig, at
908-737-3300.

Sincerely,

Meaghan Lenahan
