Information on ballot draw by County Clerk's office held in April 2017.

Dear Middlesex County,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

With respect to the ballot drawing performed by the County Clerk's office to determine the ballot positions on the June 2017 Primary Election, please provide:

- Any video or audio recordings of the ballot draw

- The meeting minutes of the ballot draw.

- The results of the ballot draw, including communications of the results to the municipal clerks, party chairs, and/or candidates.

- Any emails exchanged (sent or received) between anyone in the County Clerk's office and anyone in the Middlesex County Democratic Organization (domain = mcdonj.org) for the period beginning 7 days before the ballot draw and ending 14 days after the ballot draw. I believe the ballot draw was held on or about April 10, 2017

Good Afternoon: 

Please be advised that the County is processing your OPRA request. Your
request requires additional time beyond the seven (7) business days to
process and locate responsive documents. OPRA allows custodians to seek
extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i).  Specifically, OPRA
states that, “the requestor shall be advised by the custodian when the
record can be made available. If the record is not made available by that
time, access shall be deemed denied.”

Your request requires an extension of time until May 20, 2020.
