Records, DEP,

Mr. Duff:

With regards to this OPRA requests seeking Incoming and outgoing emails to
[1][email address] and [2][email address] from all HPO employees
from 12-1-2014 through 12-30-2017, can you provide any subject matter(s)
to help eliminate non-responsive emails to your interest?

For example, Mr. Schopp acted as a consultant for the NJDEP during this
period and there are emails for various matters around the State (e.g.
John Woolman Memorial in Burlington).

Note, in accordance w/ Mag Entertainment v. Div. of Alcoholic Beverage
Control, 375 N.J. Super 537 (App. Div. 2005) & Sandoval v. NJ State Parole
Board, GRC Case no. 2006-167 (October 2008) and their progeny, in order to
specifically identify email records, OPRA requests must contain (1) the
content and/or subject of the email and (2) the specific date or range of
dates during which the email records were transmitted.  Additionally, a
valid e-mail request must identify the sender and/or the recipient
thereof.

Coats, Trisha,

Good Morning Mr. Duff,

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Record
Access received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on 1/7/20 to
which the above tracking number was assigned. As such, the seven (7)

time required to search for the responsive records. Your request requires
an extension of time until [1/17/20].

Please confirm your acceptance or denial of this request within three (3)
business days by replying to this E-mail. Failure to respond will be
considered an acceptance of the revised due date which includes the three
(3) business days for this response.

Please be advised that by agreeing to the new due date you are not waiving
any of your rights under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.
