Dear New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
I would like a copy of information commonly referred to in other states as a "waste flow database".
I realize New Jersey may use a different name for this database, so as to assist you in identifying any pertinent documents related to this request, I will try and be as specific and descriptive as possible.
I am seeking any spreadsheet or database tracking the tonnage of waste brought to each municipal waste transfer, recycling, or disposal facility (including landfills and incinerators), with fields sufficient to show the monthly tonnage (or annual if monthly is not available), waste type, and origin (state, county or municipality, in as much detail as is available) from the earliest data available in a spreadsheet or database format through the most recent data available. Also, any spreadsheets identifying each aforementioned facility with their owner, operator, address, county, municipality, permit number, facility type, and other non-confidential related information that may be stored in such a system identifying these facilities.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Your request has been manually entered into our database. You should use the tracking 267125 when checking on the status of your review. You should receive a response as to whether we have responsive records or not by 3/4/20.
