Homeserve USA Charitable Contribution Applicants proof of being a 501c3 charity letter

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Jackson MUA should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Jackson MUA,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Please provide all the Homeserve USA Charitable Contribution Applicants proof of being a 501c3 charity letter from 2014 to 2019.

Our last request was for the list of applications and we should have asked for applications with all attachments to those applications to be included. Our apologies for not being clear, we figured each applicants package would be complete.

Thank you,

Resident

Joan Haltigan, Jackson MUA

I have received your request and will respond accordingly.

Dear Joan Haltigan,

After reviewing the documents you sent us, it appears Charitique Foundation, Inc. IRS 501(c)(3) status was revoked 05-15-2019 for not filing an IRS Form 990 for 3 consecutive years and "Inches Of Hope Children's Cancer Foundation" turned up no results in an IRS search and no results in a search of charitynavigator.org. The Inches Of Hope Children's Cancer Foundation Facebook page says it's a non-profit charity organization.

Can you confirm the MUA performed their due diligence with all the charity requests, perhaps we are missing something? Also, we will be doing the same research into the other "charities" that are documented.

Yours sincerely,

Resident
