Dear New Jersey Department of Education,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested: Evaluation rubric that the Passaic Board of Education has submitted to the commissioner by June 1 for approval by August 1 of each year. The evaluation rubrics shall have four defined annual ratings: ineffective, partially effective, effective, and highly effective. The Board shall meet the requirements as outlined in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.2(a) for the annual evaluation of teachers and shall ensure the training procedures as outlined in N.J.A.C. 6A:10-2.2(b) are followed when implementing the evaluation rubrics for all teachers. I would like to see what the Passaic Board of Education submitted to NJDOE in regards to remote learning observations.

Yours faithfully,
Francis Koterba
