Dear Frazier, Cynthia H.,

I cannot read several documents that were sent and I also didn't receive the job description nor job requirements for the position held by this employee. Were the pages entirely redacted that you sent? If so, under what exemption?

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Duff

Hey Patrick,
The problem with the documents is a result of how our software converts the PDFs to something viewable as a web page, not anything Stockton did. I was able to read all of the documents by hitting the "download" button instead of "View as HTML."

Unfortunately, due to the complex nature of PDF documents, not everything will appear properly. If you encounter this issue in the future, please try the download button.

Dear Frazier, Cynthia H.,

I apologize, I can read them. But I still didn't get a job description and or educational requirements for the position held. Could you please sent them over?

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Duff

Mr. Duff,

Attached please find an updated response to your records request.

I note that the job description is now included as Bates page #018. The job description was absolutely included as part of the employment contract (see Bates #002 and #003).

Also, no pages have been entirely redacted. The noted redactions are explained on the justification legend now included following the Index.

Thank you,
Cynthia

Dear Frazier, Cynthia H.,

Where is his original interim agreememt for 2014 as well as his agreements for 2016 and 2017? You only sent the 2015 and 2018 ones. How much was his pay raise in those years? Because based on this he received a 50% pay increase from one contract to another. Is that the standard for the university without any further education or change in position? Sounds like a good deal.

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Duff

Dear Frazier, Cynthia H.,

Did you receive my last message? Where is the original contract and the contracts for 2016 and 2017?

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Duff

As you will see, the records keepers did not provide me with a complete copy of what I requested, so I went back in and asked for the portions I saw that were missing. I like to have a little fun with it as well, especially when you hit pay dirt, as I did in this request.

This request shows that a public employee, one who actually did a academic hit job on my research, only to fail miserably in doing so, got a 50% raise at the same time he did the hit job. Imagine, this guy, who only has a AAS in history from a county college, was put in charge of a paid research project to explore the significance of Dr. Martin Luther King's first civil rights case and found the incident to not be historically significant. Only problem for him is that in a 2015 email to me he said the opposite....so I wanted to see how much it costs to change his opinion, which is roughly $23,000 a year.

Dear Frazier, Cynthia H.,

Thank you!

Yours sincerely,

Patrick Duff
