Dear Carteret Borough,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:

Dan Reiman email logs from Jan 6 2019 to Jan 16 2019

Yours faithfully,

Mr Radwan

Otero Jennifer, Carteret Borough

A review of this requested material will require more than a substantial
effort by the Borough Attorney to determine if this material will
implicate individual privacy concerns, public safety issues, attorney
client privilege and / or other exceptions under OPRA and, as such, his
initial cost estimate to undertake the review of the details of your
request is $425.00 based on an hourly rate of $110.00 an hour.  It will
also take an extended period of time to accomplish.  If you wish to post
an escrow for this amount, he can begin the necessary review as time
permits, and advise you if this amount will need to be increased, or can
be reduced.  It is his initial belief that this amount will more likely
increase due to the need to review some of the emails themselves, conduct
any implicated research, and would most likely require an additional
substantial effort by the Borough’s IT personnel which would be in
addition to the attorney’s effort, for which there will be an additional
cost.

Very Respectfully,

Jennifer K. Otero

Dear Otero Jennifer,

This is a violation of opra and a clear attempt to withhold government records—especially when the law states the governing body must charge the hourly rate paid to the clerks and I see prior request by different individuals that your pay rate is less than 110$ an hour.

Please send the records.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Radwan

Dear Otero Jennifer,

Please provide the government records without further delay.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Radwan

Dear Otero Jennifer,

there is no email address listed. You are already passed the deadline as per NJ OPRA. Please stop redirecting and send me the records without further delay to avoid costly litigation to the taxpayers. It does not take four months to satisfy an opra request

Yours sincerely,

Mr Radwan

Dear Otero Jennifer,

Please follow the guidelines set by NJ OPRA regarding their timelines. There is nothing courteous about what you’re doing.

Thank you ,

Mr Radwan

Dear Otero Jennifer,

Please see Paff vs Galloway or even Wronko vs Carteret that this Borough could not pursue a successful trial for with regards to email logs. Please do your due diligence to adhere to the NJ OPRA law and stop wasting tax payer money to protect a Mayor that uses public office for personal reasons.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Radwan
