Chief Henry Whites New Contract
Dear Atlantic City,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
In August of 2018 AC Police Chief Henry White had his salary restored from when it was cut IAW the MSRA in 2017.
1. Please provide me with his "new" written "contract" and or "agreement" and explanation of salary and benefits.
2. The "new" contract would have likely been authored by either the State of NJ and or the City of Atlantic City.
This is my third request.
Yours faithfully,
James Armstrong

Dear Atlantic City,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Atlantic City's handling of my OPRA request 'Chief Henry Whites New Contract'.
The City is not responding, has asked for numerous extensions. This is a simple request, Chief White had his pay restored, they either have a new contract and an explanation or they dont.
A full history of my OPRA request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://opramachine.com/request/chief_he...
Yours faithfully,
James Armstrong
Good morning,
In regards to your attached OPRA:
The City conducted a search which did not yield either a contract or
agreement that would satisfy your request. The only document in the City’s
possession is a request form, which is exempt from disclosure under OPRA
as deliberative. See Education Law Center v. NJ Department of Education,
198 N.J. 274 (2009). Here, the court held that “a record, which contains
or involves factual components, is entitled to deliberative-process
protection when it was used in the decision-making process and its
disclosure would reveal deliberations that occurred during that process.”
For the above listed reason your request must be denied.
Thank you.
