Dear Ocean County Prosecutor's Office,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
I’m looking for any reports or records regarding an abandoned baby which was found in 1977 either deceased or subsequently deceased after she was found. Based on the little information we have, she was most likely found in the Manchester, Lakehurst, Toms River area but we can’t be certain. Her body was handed over to Anderson Campbell Funeral Home, most likely the one in Whiting. She is buried at the Old Whiting Cemetery and that is where this Anderson Campbell Funeral Home would have buried her. They do not have any records regarding this Baby Jane Doe.
I was directed to your office from the Manchester PD as they said this type of matter would have been referred to your office.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Attached please find the response to your OPRA request.

Dear Prestia , Donna,
Thank you for your efforts here. I was able to get information through other sources.
You debunked my theory that the TV Show "Cold Case" was based on true stories and really happens. I guess it can't be when files are destroyed in unsolved cases. Better stick to Game of Thrones.
Again, thank you.
