Dear Donna Jackson,
Pursuant to your request for additional information regarding the Ridgewood Community Foundation, I can make reference to the following dates, March 14, 1919, when I believe this matter was presented to the Village Council by a Ridgewood resident and/or employee, Eileen Young, at [email address], as well as the date of November 16, 1919, when I believe the matter was mentioned at a council meeting concerning the village's gala event.

Yours sincerely,

Hans-Jurgen Lehmann

Jans,

Thank you for your email and the additional information. Unfortunately, the email below does not provide sufficient information. You request must be more specific. We need the type of document, the date range of the document(s) and which department or person(s) that might be in possession of that document(s). If you can provide us with that information, we will be able to perform the search for you.

If you would like to call, I'd be glad to assist if I can.

Hans,

In response to your OPRA Request, a records search was conducted and it was determined that the Foundation was not discussed at the Council meeting dates you provided. In order to be of assistance, an additional search was conducted going beyond the dates you provided. Attached are the excerpts from those meetings where the Foundation was mentioned.

Regarding the additional requested information, there is no public records regarding the membership of a Ridgewood Community Foundation, By-Laws, Articles of Incorporation, 990 filings or disbursements. The Foundation, although discussed by the Council as a needed organization, was not established by Resolution of the Council, and did not operate under Council control or authority. It was not Village committee or subcommittee.

At this time, we will consider this request closed and our obligation satisfied.
