Dear Jackson Township,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. I attest that I have never been convicted of a crime. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested: I am requesting copies of those summons and/or complaints issued by Robin Staley in 2017 and 2018 where the defendant was charged in the Jackson Township Municipal Court with failing to have a dog license for their pet dog.

Yours faithfully,

James McMahon

Dear Danielle Sinowitz,

I am writing in regards to the OPRA request that I previously made in which I requested copies of various summonses that were issued in 2017 and 2018. The copies of the records that you sent to me are so dark and are of such poor quality as to be unreadable. I don't know if this was done intentionally or not. That said, if I can't read the copies of the records that you sent to me, then Jackson Township has, in effect, denied my OPRA request for copies of those public records.

Please send to me clear copies of those records that I previously requested. Please send to me copies that I can actually read. If Jackson Township is unable, for whatever reason, to send to me something that I can actually read, then please let me know as soon as possible. If Jackson Township cannot send to me readable copies of the documents that I requested, then I would like to make arrangements with you to come into your office and view those documents in person. While viewing those documents in person, I will be photographing those documents.

Yours sincerely,

James McMahon

Good Afternoon,

I would like to first apologize for the way the scan came through. They
were provided to me dark, legible but dark. I lightened to what I thought
was a good quality and I do apologize that it did not come through the
machine as so. Please be advised I will try to lighten these copies again,
or ask that the copies from animal control be done and forwarded to me
again.

There was by no means any intent to give you illegible copies.

I will be reaching out to the Animal Control Office if my attempt is UN
successful and will get you a new set of copies as soon as possible.

Respectfully,

Danielle

Good Morning,

The copies were tried numerous times to be lightened and unfortunately do
to them being pink paper the email you received is the lightest they will
go. If you would like to come in and pick up the copies that is fine. If
there are any that are of question Animal Control will make another copy
and I can forward that to you.

I am in office today until noon, and we are closed tomorrow for New Years
day.

Please let me know when you'd like to come pick up the records requested.

Thank you!
