Dear Cilento, Mary Ann,

I think I clearly stated in my original request what I was looking for,if wireless technology and Motorola doesn’t know what a radio template or fleet map is or if it’s being kept a secret that’s an issue especially with something that’s being founded through the taxpayers of Ocean County.

Yours sincerely,

Elias Oliveri

Mr. Oliveri,

As a follow-up to your email of June 11, 2019, the Division of Wireless
Technology Director has advised:  the information listed in Radio
Reference is basically the current fleet map.  It provides the system ID,
the Talkgroup ID in Decimal and Hexadecimal, the Talkgroup Name and the
channel mode FDMA or TDMA.  The information provided is sufficient to
program any commercial scanner capable of receiving 700MHz to be able to
monitor the Ocean County system.

If you are referring to the radio programming template, which is generated
from Motorola Customer Programming Software, the County does not share
radio templates or code plugs with the public for the safety and security
of our first responders and public safety officials.

In accordance with:

·         "NJSA 47:1A-1.10 Security measures and surveillance techniques
which, if disclosed, would create a risk to the safety or persons,
property, electronic data or software" and

·         “NJSA 47:1A-1.7 trade secrets and proprietary commercial or
financial information obtained from any source.  Includes data processing
software obtained by a public agency under a licensing agreement which
prohibits its disclosure."

Respectfully submitted,
